This exclusive Private Walking Tour is organized just for you and people you invite. As there will be no other people, you can enjoy a tour at your own pace and in a more intimate atmosphere. 

TOUR ITINERARY

Arena Roman Amphitheater - Twin Gates - Octagonal Mausoleum - City Walls - Hercules Gate - Arch of the Sergii - Roman house floor mosaic - Roman Forum Square/Temple of Augustus/ Venetian City Hall.

NOTE

You can decide whether to enter the Amphitheatre or not. If you prefer not to enter, we will simply walk around the monument: you'll  still obtain from me the Arens's fascinating history, as the monument's inner part is visible from the outside. I 'd still highly recommend you to visit the Arena with me❗ It's just a way better experience! (no need to purchase tickets in advance).

If you have any additional interest, I can create a tour to include other highlights (e.g. Zero Strasse Tunnels Venetian Castle, Farmers Market in the morning...) Please note that in that case the cost and tour duration may vary.

ABOUT THE TOUR

On this exclusive private in-depth tour you’ll explore the beauty and the history of Pula's most famous monument, the site of mass entertainment through watching gladiatorial and other combats - The Arena.

The tour also includes the visit of the Arena’s underground area, hosting an interesting exhibition on the production and trade of olive oil and wine in Roman Istria. The exhibition contains original Roman amphorii, presses and mills, and the star of the exhibition, a copy of a curious Roman road map - kind of Roman predecessor of Google Maps
